Hey all,

It's been awhile since I was a regular user on these forums...and I'm trying to change that. So, I figured I'd give you all some cute pictures to look at....My daughter is 9 months old now and keeps me pretty busy, but when I have some offtime, I'll be roaming around these parts....now, on to the pics

Me and Hannah after her bath.

My Little Puppy ;)

Bright green eyes - have no clue where she got those from. Her mom has brown eyes and I have blue eyes. My mom has blue eyes and my dad has hazel eyes - my wife's mom has green eyes and her dad has brown eyes. Genetics is crazy, huh?

All Smiles

Well, that's about it for now...don't want to overdo the pictures, but there's a whole lot more at http://www.graciousbeauty.com

Catch y'all later,

Matt

And hey, don't be a stranger. :P ;)

Most excellent and sharp/colorful pics btw.

This one would make a good 8x10, love her expression:

Hey again - thanks for the compliments! She is most definately the light of my life. She just recently started saying da-da and it melts my heart everytime. I don't know what I did with my life before she was born - being a Daddy is one of the most rewarding experiences in the world....even though I miss out on a lot of sleep and freedoms.

Also, I'm surprised you commented on the quality of the pictures. Those are some of the better ones - every once in awhile, I'll get some blurring from using the zoom on my "ancient" camera - or because Hannah just won't sit still long enough for pictures anymore. Also, I have to edit out A LOT of red eye, because she looks right into the camera....but other than that, those pictures are original - although they are shrunk down to a more web oriented size and compressed to save space on my slowly depleting web space. The wife and I are saving up to buy the Sony P100, because it is the only camera that we can both agree on. I like the Canon's, but she hates them. She loved the Sony T1 until she held it in her hands, and we both love the size of the P100 and the price is decent, too. The camera that those pictures were taken with is my old Sony CD200 that I got a looonngg time ago. It has been good to me, which is ultimately why we decided on sticking with Sony Digicams. Also, it doesn't help that we purchased a Canon Elura 50 DV camera a little while ago that came with some defects and had to be returned to Canon for repairs before we could even use it. But that's probably more information than you wanted to know ;)

Thanks again for the compliments - it's always good to get compliments on your children...and we seem to get them everywhere we go. Sometimes it's hard to even do the grocery shopping because people always want to see the baby and talk to us about her....but I guess that every parent has to deal with that.

I agree with your opinion of that picture - it's one of my favorites at this point. I'll be adding some new pictures to my website tonight, I hope, so everyone can check them out here.

Take care y'all,

Matt

you guess right! I already spoil her rotten, and she's not even a year old yet.....I can't imagine how I'll react when I start hearing "Pleeeeaaasssseeeee Daaaaddy." Right now, she just says da-da and it melts my heart every time. She'll hold her arms out to me and say da-da....and I would give her anything in the world right then and there! ;)

I can honestly say that I have heard that at least 50 times or so...and boy do I believe it. On one hand, it seems like she's been in my life forever - on the other, it seems as if it was only yesterday that she was born. It's a crazy thing to think about the fact that she will be 1 on November 13th! She's growing up so fast...and I already miss her newborn days....she is a lot more fun and more capable now...but I really miss having a Little daughter that would sleep a lot and would let me hold her for more than 5 minutes. I especially miss the days that she would sleep in my arms and then wake up and smile at me. I still smile everytime I think about her first giggle...and her first coo. It's such an amazing experience to watch her grow and develop. How old are your daughters?

It was also a blessing that we had a little girl, because I come from a family of two boys, and my wife comes from a family of two boys and herself - and she's the youngest....so, needless to say, we figured our first would be a boy. I am really glad that I got my little girl first - just in case we decide not to have any more (yeah, right...I'm sure there will be at least one more). I absolutely love being a Daddy - I'm sure that you can understand what I'm saying. I know that one day I will be so happy that I took the time to take all the pictures and make all the DVD's of Hannah - so that I can look at and watch them and remember all the hectic days. You know - the first few months are just surreal.....I was walking around in a haze - not just from lack of sleep, but from pure physical and mental exhaustion.....and the crazy thing is - some of us do it more than once! Well, this turned into a long post, so I'll cut out now. Bless you and your family - and give your little girls a kiss and a hug when you see them next. I know I can't wait until my wife and daughter get home from the in-laws mountain place.....I am missing my little girl!!
