Congrads on that one, it is a good looking Buck. I got my first Buck this year but it was only a 2 pointer, good size deer just didn't have big antlers.

Heh! I'll have to post mine up when I get it! in canada that would be a 3 pointer... We go by points per side.. and if one side has more than the other it get deducted from the otherside.. it's all very confusing.. i cannot full grasp the concept... :)

Nice buck! is it typical?

it's a fairly big 2-3 yr old for these parts. A monster down here would go 180-200 lbs. He was probably a real "ladies man" because his horns were all busted up from fighting and tree rubs. Would have been at least 3-4 inches longer if they hadn't been broken off and worn down.

For the technically inclined, hit him first at about 50 yds through the ribs, he ran out to about 100 yds and stopped and I got him through the lungs and dropped him. Old Remington 30.06 from wallyworld with a 3x9 scope using 165 grain soft points.
