You can heat plexy up and bend it to an extent. I played around with a torch and some left over plexy i had at work...

Bake in oven at 350 till soft and pliable, Shape to desired contour, add potatoes and carrots, bake at 325 till golden brown, uhhh wait a sec I seemed to have a page missing in the recipe book!

Actually I forget the details, but you can bake plexi then shape it. I think it can be boiled also.

I had a book awhile back that told how to bake a flat plexi sheet then shape it into a bowl or other form. I think it also said plexi could held in boiling water to heat the area you wanted to bend. Like if you wanted to twist it in a spiral and form into an S you could do an area at a time and not have to heat the entire piece all at once.

I decided plexi was to easy to scratch up after compleated for what I wanted to do and the work involved was alot for something that would look crappy with scratches all over it, so I scrapped the idea.

I have found it much easier to bend acrylic with a heat gun.... I have found it very difficult to get acrylic hot enough in an oven to remove it and then mold it without getting bubbles in the acrylic....
