i am alway eager to learn so i decide use my spare case to make a window on both side of the case! or how do you guys make blowholes on the side case please help any advice is good. do you have to gp out and buy these tools?
I WANT TO KNOW WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED TO MAKE HOLE FOR WINDOW SEE THRU?

Hey fearfox, Unless you have tools you can borrow, I'm afraid this may cost ya a bit...but only once.

To start with, (assuming the window is what's first on your list) remove the door/side cover from the case. Draw an outline on the inside of the door for the opening. Using a drill with a 5/16" (8mm) bit, drill a hole inside the outline.
Then using a jigsaw with a fine tooth blade (20+ teeth per inch) insert the blade into the hole and start the saw. Make sure you go slow and let the saw do the work. Follow your line all the way around back to your starting point. You've now made a hole.
Use sandpaper or a file to remove sharp edges.

You should practice first on a piece of wood to get the hang of operating tools, cause loosing a finger can't be any fun. If you're cutting on a non-removable part of the case...say for a fan, you've got to remove all the electronics to keep all of little bits of metal out of them. Trust me, the bits will be everywhere inside causing short circuits/fires. Wear safety glasses too, I know they look stupid, but so do blind case modders.

I used a miniature drilling machine (like Dremel - are these available in the US? I don't know, but
something alike will be, i'm sure).

Equiped with a diamond-coated cutting wheel it took me about 2 hours to finish the cutting.

I use a dremal for small holes and detail work, and a rotozip for cutting for windows kits or blowholes for fans.

But a tradesman - no, sorry, just a simple student with too much
time. Btw, it was my first time... cutting a hole into a case, of course!
Spent about 10 cutting wheels until i got that diamond-coated one.
