My case is on it's way !

O, my case is ordered ..decided upon the Antec SX1040B with a 400 watt Smart PS..

I've got 2 quite panaflo's coming for the rear exhaust and one for front intake, will also be doingsome drive cooling.. what are your thoughts on side/top fans.. I kind of think a side fan would disrupt air flow in the case, plus the antec's I 've worked with in past tend to stay very cool without the additional side/op fans.

I have an SX840 almost the same case as yours just missing one of your 5.25 drive bays. I would say you don't need any more fans than what the case already has spots for. My system stays even with ambeint room temp with two intake, two exhaust, and a hdd cooler. Mod it with windows and lights but I don't think you will need any more fans.

its true. Antecs have such great airflow that if you added any other fans theres a good chance you'll disrupt airflow. I think a top blowhole would be beneficial though.
Every so often I try to masturbate a large word into my conversation, even if I'm not sure what it means.

there cases ant perfect.

You might want to cut out the grills, and silicone the fan clips to the case cause they can rattle some times. a bottom and bop blowhole are also good, if you need them. If you can set it up make more aire going In then out. mainly cause there are dead spaces, like between cards and other spots. With more getting shoved in it moves that dead air out better then if you have more sucking then blowing. ;)

I've got the Chieftec 1030B same case as the Antec line... Mines solid black though none of that grey lookin' black... 4 Sunon 32 cfm fans... Keeps my case nice and cool... I'm sure there are a few dead air spots but it gets the air away from the processor and thats all i'm really worried about. Gotta keep my XP 1700+ stable at 1.7 :)

Got the Antec SX1030<--- sweet!

Plenty of room for my soon to be watercooling setup.... :)

Excellent airflow design.... the only thing to add is a blowhole in the top....

Plus, I'm the envy of ALL my friends.

zs<-----doesn't have any friends, but if he did, they would be, like totally envious and stuff
