Need a "how to" guide for painting case

Anyone wanna point me out to a good how to guide to painting a case?

I know some basics, but I want it to turn out REALLY good

also, any tips?

Is there an art to painting cases

I never tried it, but kinda figured grab the paint and go for it would work.

I am thinking on doing some painting, so is there more to it than that?

Also thinking about doing a bit of crome plating, a friend has one of those little outfits I thought I might borrow. One is a hand held electroplating unit of some type, and the other is some sort or small tank. He said they work good, can do about the size of a cars valve cover in the tank.
