My Dell

Post by smb »

I was a little bored and decided to spruce up my Dell
The paint still needs a bit of polishing, but it still looks pretty good.
(yes, my camera is bad. It was free from Dell (Largan Cameleon))

I didn't change anything inside because i'm not that bored yet.
it's a 2.6C
512 megs PC 400
128meg Nvidia Quadro 5000 fx
60 HD
DVD

It's currently running win2k

Actually, my boys have it now. They liked it so I gave it to them. I don't think window would go to well because it opens like a clam shell, and the drive cages are right behind the logo.

SMB I think Dick meant that if you cut out the embedded Dell logo on the SIDE of the case it would look cool as a window mod. In fact that would look cool, with cathodes inside and such. I too myself have the same Dell (if thats a Dimension 8200) but I have taken out all the parts inside the box and put them into a new Mod Box I bought recently. I guess you could consider my PC still a Dell, but just better looking :D

It's a 4200 series case, and the drive cages are on that side. Believe me, I thought about it. I think it would be cool too :)
