It depends on a few things. Ambient Temp being one. Where your temp probe is being another.

In my previous room, the ambient was in the high 80's or so, no air movement. So my watertemp would be around 32c idle, kick up to 37-38c during games.

here, as nexus said its around 70 degree, so my temp is holding steady at 29/30c.

Not to mention your overclocking....so your 1.8g normal chip is at 2.5, so yeah your temp will be a little higher. But those numbers seem alright.

Hell im runnin 105.8 (41) quietly air cooled in a 80.1 (26.7) room. and I am OC a xp2500 to 3200 speeds. So yes that does seem high.

Edit:

Oh yea i am folding too so thats not idle. :D

I had similar temps before also. This machine stays on pretty much all day and folds when Im not using it. I noticed that my temps were down 2 degrees when I got home today. FAH is set to 100% cpu usage so It gets a workout all day. My idle temps came down a little also. The water kit is a Thermaltake big water which managed to get the poorest rating pretty much everywhere including Maximum PC. I have cooler temps either way you look at it compared to the other kits that they reviewed. They used a prescott so I know that I have cooler temps with AMD. I would like to have clocked it up higher but my mem craps out on me with decent timings. Tried raising the ddr voltage and raising the mem limiter but ended up with ddr365 with a 2.5g cpu clock so I turned it down to gain mem mem speed back. I was thinking about ordering some ddr500 but didnt like any of the timings. Seems a little stupid to have a fast cpu with crap mem timings and speed. Managed to get close to 2.6g but wasnt real stable with the mem clocked so high. Im really surprised how far you can take Corsair mem past 200mhz. Right now running at ddr465 by the ntune app.
