The spring loaded rod at the bottom front of the case is actually the pin that keeps the front panel from being removed if the side panel is in place.

This is the only way to lock the case to prevent entry. If the left side panel is locked, you can't remove the front because the pin is holding the bottom of the front panel. If you can't remove the front, you can't remove the right side panel. This will keep all of your components safe from tampering.

This is the best case I have ever owned. I have the case with the side window and the LED fan included. The hard drive bay keeps the drives cool especially if you don't use the bottom tray. The lowest tray is really out of the airflow from the front fan.

Cable management is a dream and the stealthed optical bays have clear slots so you can monitor the activity LED's.

I just got this case, and it is as awesome as the review states. Everything about the case facilitates the system building process. Hands down, this is the easiest enclosure I've worked with. My only complaint was Antec mislabled the front panel audio connections. I found that they did this with the Sonata case as well, and their web site included the correct labels. My only other wish about this case is that the audio and firewire plugs were pinned into a standard intel plug, rather than a handful of independently marked wires. In both the Sonata and Overture cases, there is both the intel type connector and the independently labeled wires for maximum convienence.

yea, I think they should include 2 different plugs. one that is wired in the normal fassion and then the one that comes with it how it is all seperate wires for them goofy designes.

I'd love to get this case, but I don't see how my Pioneer DVD-106 drive (which I love) will work with this case.

Can anyone think of a workaround other than replacing the Pioneer slot-load DVD drive?

Thanks,
