Sub or Dub, what floats your boat?

I started with dubs all the way, I have some 60 or 70 VHS that I bought a few years ago, all dub'ed. I thought it was the way to go.
Then I switched over to DVDs, and even though most also included japanese soundtrack I was still listening to the english dub.
Fast forward to the end of 2001, I survived 8 long months of dialup after I returned to Germany and I finally got DSL. Somehow I found Armitage's Dimension, a 128k/s MP3 stream that sends anime and jpop 24h and features a request setup.
They also have a chatroom and I met some people in there that shared some fansubs with me.
Hmmm, fansubs .... the japanese soundtrack certainly sounded funny at first but it didn't take long and I prefered it that way.
Since than I'm a fan of subs. It's also the only way you'll see the stuff that's currently airing in japan, as a fansub.
Some anime should never be dub'ed, especially Azumanga Daioh. But sometimes you find a jewel where the english dub actually sounds almost better than the original soundtrack, like Cowboy Bebop.
So, lemme know what YOU prefer.
