Pingable websites?

I was trying to find my average ping times so I could adjust my rwin

following what dslreports says, i try to ping a website, but it always times out

are there any websites I could ping so I could find my ping numbers?

yahoo.com is pretty as a ping target

are you running it from the command window? run>cmd>ping XXXXXX?

Any type of firewall that could maybe restrict the reply? Maybe Windows XP Firewall enabled accidentally? Setting on hardware router?

I too can ping yahoo and even have ZA running.

well....i got our Linksys befsr41 router, but this system is set in the DMZ

then I am also running Keiro
