Networking and broadband talkabout. Need help with that new router or setting up a network?

Hopefully they've solved the issues with satellite broadband that plagues Hughesnet. I wonder what kind of pings we'll see. This is exciting and it will force our ground based internet providers to provide better service if they want to stay in business.

Actually, some satelite internet is surprisingly good. You still have to deal with high latency, but around here I have clients using Exide and it's pretty good.
No way to fix ping issues. It just takes that long to communicate. Radio waves only travel at the sped of light. So it wont get any faster then about 200ms unless they are low orbit.
