AMD’s newest graphics cards: RDNA2 power from $579 to $999

If the 6900XT can trade blows with the 3090 at 4K for $999, I may reconsider getting a 3080. For me, DLSS performance between the cards will be the deciding factor.

This is one of the guys I watch on Twitch. He just recently purchased an RTX 3090 and was streaming the AMD launch today.

Yeah, I held off on the 3080 to see what would happen. I doubt I will get lucky with the first round of cards but I'll go AMD this round, especially since i have been linuxing more these days. If the day I order bitcoin is especially high, I may just say fuck it and go for the 6900

So it depends on what hobby I wanna feed. Better linux support, or better photogrametry rendering speed. Dont care about raytracing yet, and game at 1440p, so it's whatever I can actually find for sale without a markup.

Benchmark has their RX 6800 XT vs. RTX 3080, side by side frame-rate comparison video up now:

It's amazing to see the 6800 XT boosting to 2350 MHz when it can.
