I couldnt find the ATI Radeon X700 Pro ViVo AGP 256MB Video Card in the comparison.
Is this a good card? Right now on sale at Futureshop for 159 Canadian and since I'm in the market for a new card I'm tempted to buy it.
What you think? I'm upgrading from a 9200 AGP

The x700 performs the same as a 9800 Pro, which is listed in that comparison. Definately a big improvement from a 9200.

Is the x700 a good card? Yes but it depends on what you play. It's the MINIMUM ATI card I'd game with right now if you're a serious gamer. It's a good card which will play anything just fine, but some of the newest games like FEAR, BF2 and DOD Source will not run with max eye candy. If you're a serious BF2 gamer you won't be happy with it - BF2 really wants a better card.

If you can't afford any more then that's the card to get. If you can afford it get an x800 Pro.

I cant afford a X800 and I'm not a serious gamer, so I ordered me a X700 and a 19" DELL ultrasharp, my x-mas present for myself. :)
