it's killing me using a friends P90(update 120Mhz ) and a 1mb orchid card. gonna try to o\clock the cpu ( without instructions from mobo ) dip switches and jumpers etc. but i figure a mid range vid card will be my best bet. not much cash tho . tnt2's arnt around anymore got to be a pci card. should i bother upgrading this awsome beast?, whoohooo 40mb edo ram 2gig hdd but the 56k modem is fine for net usage.

theres got to be a card which will play games like hum?

I feel for you. But that will get you by till you can do better, and it is better than nothing of course.


Maybe a voodoo 2 if you can find one or even a voodoo 3 pci. They should be under $25 at most by now. Or save that to put towards a faster setup.

If the only games you're playin' right now are the oldies (doom, decent, warcraft, duke, lords of the realm, etc.) then that will probably do. Any games requiring a 3d accelerator will probably also require a machine with a little more muslce .

But as blade said, you could get a pretty good PCI card to use for now, but also to use after you upgrade that beast

played DOOM last night. boy brings back memories. nice and fast and still loogs good to my eyes anyway. got to find my glasses he he
