Yanked this off VE today:

<i>3Dfx driver update? 10:30 AM (your time) - James "ADecay" Special - Hardware: 3dfx - (16)
The discussion board over on the x3dfx site (the group composed of former 3Dfx team members in Belfast) has been updated with an announcement regarding the possibility that they may be authorized to release a beta driver update for the 3Dfx-based video cards. Here's the post:

First of all I would like to apologise for the lack of recent information. Movement has been slow on our negotiations and our first priority has been to secure the future of the employees here in Belfast.

At this moment in time there is a real possibility that we will be authorised to release a beta driver update. The full details have to be worked out but I would please ask you to be patient. If everything goes according to plan, I will make more details available over the next week.

Reid."</i>

Maybe that explains why your sites link to a non-beta V3 driver isn't working now (no longer available) ?

Huh? All the Voodoo driver links on my site are working - just checked.

3Dfx also put their FTP site back up and you can download drivers from their web site.
