hello all,

i have a TV series that ive downloaded that are in seperate AVI files (each episode = 1 avi file), ive used 'WINavi converter to convert these to VOB files (dvd format)...BUT

how can i place them in nero to burn so that i have only one set of 'IFO + BUP' files with the seperate episodes as the VOB's ie: VOB 01 1 etc etc

because when converting these files..they are put into folders named 'dvd 0' containing 'audio+video ts folders with the SINGLE episode and its BUP/IFO files....

i want to create the DVD as it was originally....how?

Try ConvertXToDVD

If that does not work, use their search feature on the main page to do a Google search. I had several hits when searching for "AVI to VOB".

If you still have the .avis then check this thread: http://www.pcabusers.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=42470

I hate working with .vobs - they are a pain in the ass....

use something like tmpegenc 3.0 to convert each episode separately to mpeg2. you can batch encode and/or choose "split output files" from the encode screen.

when they are all converted, using nerovision express to author, at the "add video files" screen, you can
start a new track for each episode.

when you are done you should have something like VTS_01_01, VTS_02_01,etc.

I just use nero vision. Very easy to use. As far as I know it comes with 6.6 an up nero.
