I saw this over at 3D Chipset concerning the new Nvida 6.50 drivers.

Sure enough I tried what the article suggested as a test and had the same problem. If you use the coolbits and O/c you video card and then let power managment turn your monitor off when you wake it back up it showed memery and core clock setting underclocked

Hmmm. Shouldn't affect me - I use Power Strip for overclocking. Never had much luck with Coolbits with 6.31 - stupid drivers would sometimes reset the clock back to normal and not tell me. PowerStrip is more reliable.

Haven't installed 6.50 yet - probably will this weekend.
