The (sad) State of CrossFire and SLI Today

I have a friend who has always built SLI rigs but this last time around he gave up. Either the performance sucks with newer games, or they flat out don't work properly with SLI. It's not worth it anymore.

Never was worth it to me unless you just had to have the absolute top of the line performance, otherwise, paying about 1.5x the price of one of the SLI cards will get you a single card that can do the same performance more efficiently
