Hercules GF2 GTS will be better at 1024x768x32 and higher resolutions than the mx. It'll provide better performance for longer than MX. I'd go with Hercules GF2 GTS. Now whether or not you get it is another story. Image

I have a Hercules GeForce II MX there is no doubt the the GTS is a much faster card at high resolution but the MX isn't bad. If you are on a budget go for the MX but if you can swing it go for the GTS

Since we all know there are NO future proof cards, I will just go for the MX, and basically play all games at 800x600@32bit smoothly. It still cost less 50% less than a GTS.

Especially when Directx8 is out, there will be new cards with new features coming out. So I wouldn't buy a GTS now.

50% less? Nope.

Not if you know where to buy GTS cards like I do.

This is where EvilHorace got his GeForce 2 GTS for $159:

This is really a whitebox Visiontek GeForce2 GTS.

That's a pretty good deal, in that case, get the GTS :)

But you know most GTS out there are at least $200.

better suggestion. Talk to bummer, see if he has anymore of those Radeon cards for ~$130. I like mine a LOT better than my GTS, even though it's not as balls out fast.
