It's actually designed for workstation use, but happens to be ~40% faster than a 1080 GTI. And will play many games at 4K max settings.
According to one of the posters at H, will pay for itself mining in a mere 3 years, maybe.

It looks like it doesn't support SLI. If I can't run 3 at once, I'll pass.

I don't understand where the market is for this card. It's too expensive for gamers and the Quatro is better suited for workstations.
