Android 9

Post by FlyingPenguin »

My Pixel 2 XL just started offering it but I'm refusing for now. Reports about issues and despite claims, no one is seeing performance or battery improvements yet.

Also most of the changes are under the hood so no compelling reason to upgrade.

Rather let everyone else be a beta tester first.

Guess, I'm beta testing it for you :) I've been running it since Friday. The whole default do not disturbed annoyed me for a bit. Need to tweak it, but for now I have it disabled, I kept missing the wife's calls. Other than that I haven't messed around with it much. Nothing found to be broken yet, just a bit different.

I'm holding off until it's actually released with no bugs.

Got it day 1 on the Essential, and I like it. No issues so far.
