Let's see how it pans out after the early adopters have at it.

While it looks cool, I don't see a practical purpose in having it other than being able to carry around a smaller phone. I'd be curious how the foldable screen feels to use.
I think flexible displays have a large range of uses though. I can see the automotive industry using these to integrate within the dashboard or to use as a heads-up display. Once they are cheap enough, people will use them to decorate their houses.
I thought this was funny. Flipboard is one of the first apps I disable on my phones. I don't want an app that constantly pushes news notifications and eats data.

I tried so hard to use Flipboard, but yeah it's a battery eater and I constantly had issues with not getting the latest news.
Yeah, I don't see this foldable thing being very practical. It's going to be pretty thick when folded. Seems like a technology desperately looking for a use case.

Yeah seems like tech destined for custom displays with unusual shapes or locations. Foldable phones is probably the least innovative possible use.

I see heavy user's ending up with 2 phones . a right and left side and both not working because it broke s

HAHAHA. A roll up display would be cool for a moveable screen type thing because it would take up less space then a flat motor out.
