Ok. we have a IMB transnote. Win2K. No cdrom, no floppy.

We have a floppy and cdrom connected USB. The floppy will boot however the cdrom can't be detected.

What should the external usb rom be set to? MA/SL/CS ?

Is it possible that the USB CdRom has to be a certian one? Were using a new Lite On 52x.

thanks!

Are there settings in the bios for booting from different USB devices?

USB is enabled. I have tried booting to floppy and USB (SCSR) <--? Some acronym..

Neither worked..

the cdrom wouldnt matter but the controler it is plugged into and communicates with the pc might matter.

Yeah, we only have one here at the store so trying different ones is tough to do.

So what were gonna do is use an adapter and connect it to a pc and install from there :(

Thanks for the help ;)
