Anyone tryng to build a laptop?

I'd like to build a laptop custom. Anyone trying it yet?

For what I would want I don't really need battery power, I normally have a 110V outlet handy. I would like to run on batteries for about 2 hours if I could though.

$99 for a 19" Lcd monitor, $90 for 4 gigs ram, $100-$150 for all in one system board with CPU, good older Hard drive free or $50 for a new drive, power supply.

Did I forget anything for a beefy $300-$400 system?

At this time I still have to do WIFI to get large 3D content files I buy.
Over 5 gigs in last couple days, I got about half of them in one day, I have to go back again.

I always plug in when there at WIFI spots I go to. So if I build a low profile case, with a 19" LCD hinged on top I am thinking better system than most $400-$600 laptops and do the same thing I need now but much lower cost!

If I could power the system and LCD on batteries of course I would like that! If not though, then other than wanting UPS why not build a very small desktop.
Main thing is not be lugging around a true big main system into WIFI spots where it looks like your moving in!
