android phone 4.3 update glitchs

Post by renovation »

my Samsung S-3 Galaxy did get one -when the phone rings the flash go's off .took it in today to the sprint store . they have to do a hard reset to fix the problem. there backing up all the stuff on it . and resetting the phone -I understand mine minor compare to other they are seeing . I tried going into the setting and turning the flash off but it just resets to the flashlight when the phones rings. not sure what the other problems they say are happing but just a fyi to you if you are seeing weard things going on with your phone it maybe due to this update .
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me. :help

havent seen any problems with my s4 mini, was hoping to see an improvement in battery time though. Great thing is this phone is so small and light I wont be pissed if i have to get an extended battery for it, but Im beyond broke so that wont happen anytime soon

Hearing about problems with it on many devices so holding off on my phones and tablets.

The update seems to be hit or miss. I'm not having problems but I've read several folks are. I still have the issue where if I'm in a fringe LTE area, the phone will suck the battery trying switching between LTE and G but I had this before the update.

My US Cellular S4's OK but a guy at work says the DL took 2 days and now his phone's screwed up bad. It's Note 2 with AT&T, the guy who wants to buy that gear watch to go with it.

The update was huge. Mine clocked in at over 650Mb. I don't think some of the custom ROMS are that large.

The only thing to have the guy try is backing up his pics, music and apps and then do a master reset. That's essentially what they will do if he takes it to the store. My guess is that some people have an app that's incompatible with 4.3 which causes problems one the update is applied. You'd think that these updates would scan the current apps and looks to see if any are incompatible before updating.
