I don't get any of the sort on my cell phone. Then again I never give out my proper number unless I absolutely have to so that might have something to do with it.

I have an app on my Samsung Galaxy s5 called "Call Control" https://www.callcontrol.com/

Works very well. Yeah I had to pay for it, but that is the only way to avoid them. On my work phone, I have the app Hiya which is free. Works some fine for repeat callers, but it does not work in real time. I wish politicians would get these on a regular basis, so maybe they would get off their asses and do something meaningful, instead of wasting time on taxing porn.

I've been using True Caller for almost a year and it's worked out really good. One big feature I utilize is blocked numbers that start with the first 6 digits of my phone number.

I've been using the free version of Call Control. Works nicely.
