FX File Explorer for Android

Post by FlyingPenguin »

The old app I used, ES File Explorer, has become trashware. I was using an older version I had archived, before they bloated it up full of crapware, but it doesn't work properly with recent OS updates, so I went hunting for a replacement.

I paid $3 (one time) for the Pro version of FX File Explorer from NextApp Inc. Pro adds adds extra features I wanted. It does everything ES File Explorer does, but better. I use it to copy files between my phone and server on my local LAN, for opening encrypted archive files, and it has a built in text editor and media player.

Followup: Still using this and very happy with it. Highly recommended.
