my phone did a major update last night . today were seeing that its needing a lot of tweaking o'joy .

Alphabet column (on right side) gone in contacts list ----- one of many changes -
ONE UI 4.0 ANDROID 12, on my Samsung Galaxy S21, and now the alphabet that used to be visible in the contacts list on the right hand side of the phone, going down, is gone now and is replaced with dots so I'm unable to go straight to the letter to find the contact I'm looking for.
how it works now
All you have to do is put your finger on the dots and slide down the screen, the relevant alphabetical letter will appear on the screen.

Wonder if that update are for all Samsung phones? Sounds like you may have to do a reset. Also, I usually hold off on software updates for several days.

did reset im stuck with the changes - know the note's getting same update.
