This is not the first time this sort of thing has happened. Anyone else recall that that US-Mexico soccer match a few years ago that tens of thousands of Mexicans attended only to verbally insult and shout racial epithets at the US players? The Mexicans also physically assaulted them by throwing glass bottles, cans and other debris at them along the side lines and in the field, thereby injuring some of the American players. Yes, tens of thousands of Mexicans showed true anti-American and racist sentiment at the USA-Mexico soccer match in Los Angeles. But you'll rarely ever hear about such behavior since apparently only gringos are racist.
