Actually rogue over the past 3 years plus it had been the left that has been reactionary. Also clear is is how they like to repeatly sip from the ladle dipped into the cauldron of hate and bitterness. In early November they'll become further embittered and enraged.

Amusing. Yet a good deal of the left has no problem despising people of deep faith in this country.

So we liberate them, only to kill all of them? Maybe we shouldn't have stepped foot into that shithole in the first place? What kind of response do you expect when you bomb a country to hell and back, killing thousands of civilians in the process? Of course there will be dissidents, no matter how many "freedoms" are provided. To expect no response at all is illogical at best and naive at worst. Of course these guys are sick assholes who deserve nothing less than execution, but we should have known what we were getting ourselves into when starting this war.

Where is that self-proclaimed compassion for the suffering downtrotten? Lefties say they are compassionate and claim to be real humanitarians until it conflicts with their hatred of the right.

Where was this concern for civilians when Serbia {no threat at all to us} was being heavily bombed for 78 days? Apparently it must disappear when a Republican president is in office.

Why was Kofi "I haven't answered for the UN oil-for-food scandal" Annan silent and didn't declare that war {no UN approval was asked at all!} to be an "illegal war."

I don't give a fsck for the Iraqis, Muslim of not just like I don't give a fsck for the Israelis or the Palestinians. I just care what is best for the US and IMO the Dub's ill advised excellent adventure in Iraq was not in the best interest of the US.

I guess none of you know anyone that's muslim.

The only one I ever knew I worked with in the mid to late 90's. He was from saudi arabia and we got along great. Mostly just joking around when not working. He left for a much higher paying job in research triangle (before 9/11). That's a big computer tech area near here.

We shared emails off and on. After 9/11 I asked him about it and he did say he was apalled. Said he doesn't know what to think, but that not all saudi's are like that. That was the last I heard from him.

After your comment, I emailed him. It was his work email and I got a reply back telling me that he no longer works there and has left the country. I asked for more details and they said that's all they can tell me.

Maybe it's the people from the ME who are whacked. Even though you aren't Muslim you demonstrate the same sort of fanaticism that many Extremist Muslims do.

indonesia : at war
pakistan : at war
serbocroatia : at war
sudan : at war (could be considered middle east but it really is just africa)

i agree with rogue about we should have know what we were doing. And please dont bring religion into it...Islam isnt bad. If you use Islam to start your aguement or fight then you are no better the the extremist over there who use it to brainwash people. Also, lets not forget what Americans have done to their people, in the past present...what ever.......But what people (both them and us) forget is that those ppl they were killing (beheading) where there trying to help, lot not part of the military, one of the people that was beheaded was converting to Islam and married a muslim.....its not he religion....its the greed of leaders and the wealthy and the fear of Americans that the normal average person has over there....they have the right to fight for the country just as those who believe we just waltz in there guns a blazing and kick some good ol' ass....i odnt agree with brutality like beheadment they should be punished.....but dont use religion and dont say they are all animals over there......i have seen americans (and yes i am american...southern born and raised) do some pretty bruetal and crazy stuff.....so what are we? just because we hid e behind the belief that we are the only civilized ppl around here...the brittish use to say the same thing about us and say to us that we are uncivilized......etc. so dont bring in the crap that we are better than others....that our ppl do not do that kind of crap.......i have had family member after family memember die in wars (since the American Revolution down to Gulf)......and i am tired of seeing them die for things that in my opnion were unnecissary. but get ur head out of ur a** we are not the high and mighty....holier and better than though American Government, politics, corporations. etc.. the sad part is that those people ("all those animals and their kind") believe we are all evil, money groveling, power hungry, immoral ppl, but most of us are just trying ot get by and survive and provide for our families......i do hate being stereotyped into a group by race, religion, or where i live at.......they (not the ppl who commited the murders, but average normalcitizens) shouldnt be treated that way either. i could go on for hours, i never write replies either, cus its a waste of time for me ....b/c some ppl cant seem to get out of their own world.....
anyways, thats just my opinion
