The events of these past weeks cleared up the water and it does look like Bush will prevail. All I can say to that is "w00t! w00t!"

It looks like Bush will win, but I wonder if we are going to have some legal action like we did in 2000, especially in tight areas of the country were the vote can be 50/50.

Actually a victory by either candidate really isn't something to be celebrating. I think long reflection would be more in order.

True but I personally prefer Bush over Kerry.

No one can calll this one yet. The state electoral polls (which are the only ones that really count) are all over the place. 3 new ones came out today, NONE of them giving either candidate enough electoral votes to guarantee a win (number of uncertain electoral votes range from 70 to 113), 2 of them giving Kerry a slight advantage but with the large number of uncertain states it's meaningless.

I don't think ANYONE will know how this is going to break until it's all over. I dare say tomorrow night is probably going to be the first time a LOT of Americans will be glued to the TVs on an election night.

I will be happy to see an end to all the negative ads AND the damn annoying phone calls.

the 42 of the 50 states have laws forcing the electoral college to vote with the state counties

I've been watching that website and he has a pretty leftward bent to him. Read the votemaster FAQ:
I am a professor of computer science at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Not a good sign...
To answer the question of why I am in The Netherlands, my lovely wife is Dutch and long ago we decided that she couldn't do her kind of work in the U.S.
Just a question here: does this mean she's a prostitute or she's a maraijuana dealer? Just curious....

At any rate, its actually somewhat reassuring to me that this guy is predicting a Kerry win. Most of his methodologies and tie-breaking methods usually favor Kerry, so the fact that he is predicting Kerry to barely win is reassuring to me that Bush is doing beter than most people think,

I can imagine. I was talking to a friend in New Mexico this weekend and he got 3 calls from computers telling him to vote during our 45 minute conversation. He also said he erased all hs messages on his answering machine Thursday night and by Saturday afternoon there were 18 new messages from compters!! He was considering re-registering as an independent just to get off of the Republican calling list until he realized that that would put him on BOTH calling lists. ;) I'm sure its just as bad (if not worse) in FL.

There hasn't been anyone that I really wanted to be president since Reagan. But, I voted Bush. At least he has stayed his course and doesn't do the flip flop rock as kerry always does.

Whoever wins I'm sure then they'll all be nicey nice again. It's a shame they feel the need to resort to insults and demeaning/smirky remarks. And those damned commercials. Flyers in the mail, stuck on my fence, my door, car, etc..

As Nader said (about the only good thing from him), we need to do away with the 2 seperate parties. And always have 3-4 viable candidates. This system is really screwed.

I hang up immediately when either call me, had to start just screening calls. Even then some leave long pre-recorded messages. That bs should be illegal.

***Results just in*** Jerry Lewis WON!!

the french should be happy :d

Man! I could not believe all the people coming out to vote. All the previous times, we never waited more than a minute in line. Today, I had to wait 15 minutes.

I was still undecided, but I voted for Bush also. I wish they had "none of the above" box to choose. I have a feeling we won't know who one until tomorrow morning.
