This is from
The WorldNewsDaily
How in the fvck is this happening? We need to wake up and smell the coffee, or we will be overrun by illegal aliens from Mexico and other Latin countries. I can't believe not one politician has the balls to denounce this crap. Jesus Christ I wish I was in charge for a few days. And don't think it can't happen to your area of the US.

They are always tryin to get a job at my shop. The way I see it is, if you cant speak my fvckin language then get the hell out of my tax suckin up country. You ought to see the look on their face when you say "Lamigra" I saw some videos from Iraq though that makes me apprieciate the good ole U.S.A. Nothin like seeing a guy get his hands and feet sawed off with a steak knife for stealing some food. The dude was still alive of course, had his mouth gagged. Also saw the video of the soldier getting his head cut off with a pocket knife(still alive of course). With all the politics and all, I will gladly spend $2.00 a gallon for gas and for the luxury of life that we enjoy. I still think that we should make a giant wal mart parking lot out of the middle east though.

Slowly but surely they are taking this country from us and doing it without firing a shot. Time we open our eyes and take some action in my opinion. 80% of the parents who have kids in the school my kids go to can not speak English. It just is not right.

Think that's bad, a little over a 175 years ago Spanish was the dominant language of California and most of the Southwest.

Isn't that still the official language of Louisiana :jester j/k Phil. Living here in New England somerimes it's difficult to understand the Natives and they supposedly speak English.
I believe that the #1 Priority in American Schools is to make sure that all the students speak English, even where Ebonics is the native language.

The guy that I car pool with to work was telling me his son in High School is required now to take 3 years of Spanish. WTF? IMHO, it's more important to learn English unless you want a job selling tacos. When I went to High School, the requirement was only one year of a FOREIGN language. Now it's mandatory that the language be Spanish. When did this change?

When I was in HS, I had four years of Spanish. There used to be choices, but not anymore. Budget cuts and all. I dont remember any of it. I forgot every word 5 minutes after I took the regents exam.

IMO, i would not like to see people poor, but i was always taught to not give ppl the fish but teach them how to fish (good ol' southern philosophy) i understand the problems people here fere....more people to go on wellfare....and it's true a lot do end up on wellfare, but those are mostly the younger generation who have kids very young and get on assistance (i live in a HEAVILY Hispanic populated area) i am living in the land of Tyson, joking, where its true that plenty are on assistance like food stamps etc, which like cuts the quota for that state, etc, also the language deal, if i was to go live over there i would be expected to know there language, i have traveled to many places and i always try to know the languages or be with someone who knows it more than i. i know 3 languages other than English, but i dont know Spanish (although if i did i WOULD GET SO MUCH MORE MONEY AT MY JOB) and it does get on my nerves that a person less qualified gets the job just b/c they know spanish. Its true that the common thought amongst ppl of other nations is that Americans refuse to speak other languages and expects everyone to speak English, but it doesnt work that way, but i do agree if u come here to live or work then do learn the language...or atleast dont pretend like you dont the language just to get away with stuff, i work in the bank world and i have to deal with that alll day.
about the school, like i said i like in a moderate-heavy populated hispanic community, (comapred to the rest of my state), and the problem isnt forcing them to learn four years of language....believe it or not it helps you in developing better learning skills, and helps you in other areas, but the problem at least in my area is that there has to be a translater in each class room and the teacher has to talk and then stop for the translation and the English speaking children are having a hard trouble keeping up....as well as the hispanic b/c things get disrupted and the flow of learning is broken...the classes are full as it is then they want to cram in Hispanic students and then pause everything for translations also, not including having to pay for this....out of taxes etc......so we are hit with more taxes...for wellfare, foodstamps...schools etc..... but what is the solution....the human rights ppl dont want to see ppl hungry and poor.....the people who work hard just to have 1/3 of their paycheck taken for fed taxes alone......wheres the middle ground? i heard that they are allowing a limitless immigration of Mexicans into america,...dont know if its true, but the thing that makes me mad is that the US puts quotas on other nations...like only 2,000 Indians, or 3,000 Bangledeshis...etc etc can come in this year.......once the qota is full the doors are shut. i just dont understand why they let them be limitless if its true and then still have soo many illegal aliens....i also heard that they are goiing to make the illegals get licenses......hmmmmm i guess thats good cus some of them come here work buy cars and it seems like they havent droven a car in there whole lives (yet so do i

) but really, there does have to be a line drawn. also i am a logistics grad.....and the talk is all about opening up the borders for mexican truckers and trucking companies.....under NAFTA it was suppose to be that way.....presently they come one mile in and dump the load and turn back.......but the problem is that the Mexican trucks, drivers, and companies do not come close to our regulations and specs....i just cant imagine seeing the trucks and the drivers i seen in mexico over here on our streets, some of our drivers are bad enough......but we are having a bad time keeping truck drivers so allowing them to come here would seem like a great solution....either way.....
good side to the whole situation is that lot of the older Hispanic population work hard and send there money home to help families, they do not go on assistance, and there is "cheap" labor even though they arent so cheap any more......at least not here.... its a tangled up situation all over.....just like all the other issues that us Americans have to toggle about with......
