The official website of Washington State Democrats sold magnetic car stickers of the Christian fish symbol and cross emblazoned with the word "hypocrite" on a background of hellish flames.

The item was removed about mid-day yesterday after a weblog took note, calling it an example of Democrat Party hostility toward religious believers, especially Christians.

Well first of all, try as I might I have found no reference about this in any news organization database: CNN, AP, Google News, even Fox News (hell, you'd think Fox would be all over this).

I also notice the link on that page you posted to a "copy of the original page" is dead.

So I see no evidence this happened from a reputabe source as of yet and it's been 4 days?

Who did you call, the Washington Democratic Party? Please elaborate.

HOWEVER, allowing it did happen, my question is this:

What is "Hellish" flames? What distinguishes regular flames from "Hellish"?

What's the big deal? Not a tasteful decision by the Washigton State Democratic party (if they did do it), but hardly evidence that "Democrats Hate Christians".

It's making a statement that many so-called Christians are hypocites. I agree (Christians for the Death Penalty comes to mind right away).
