20-year-old sues Dick’s Sporting Goods, Walmart over new gun policies

This will be interesting as the 20 year-old is claiming age discrimination. I think he'll lose since it's corporate policy being applied equally to a non protected group. The intent of age discrimination laws are generally to protect older people so we'll see how this goes.

Real hard to guess who's bankrolling him....agree that young and stupid is not protected class legally :)

I know he's trying to make a point because he could go to any pawn shop, gunshow, or gun shop in the entire state and buy his .22LR Ruger Rifle.

The comments to these stories keep bringing up the Baker vs Gay Couple case (which the couple lost). The kid should try renting a car or taking out a car loan or mortgage. Maybe he can sue them too. We have all been in the awkward 18 to 25 age where you're technically an adult but not. I remember it sucking but what can you do?

Hilarious how conservatives think it's ok to allow businesses to refuse to serve a customer based on sexual orientation, but god forbid a store refuses to sell a gun to an 18 year old.
