Either the FCC made the right choice or Sinclair didn't line enough pockets. Maybe Sinclair should've offered to buy Pai a larger coffee mug.If no divestitures were made, the merger would let Sinclair reach 72 percent of US television households. Sinclair owns or operates 173 broadcast TV stations in 81 markets, while Tribune has 42 stations in 33 markets.
I was against eh NBC/Comcast merger as well. I think Sinclair needs get broken up like we did with Bell. It really stinks that there are so few independent local stations on TV and on the Radio.
