You do know that the Glider vehicles year is the year of emissions it has to follow. So a new Glider has to follow current standards.

Would you go out and spend money on a new Corvette with no drive train in it and put something else in it that had to meet current standards?

Its the same as going out and just buying a 2010 truck and then putting in a rebuilt motor in it. Nobody is buying current year trucks and putting "older" motors in them. What mainly happens is a truck gets wrecked and they pull the engine out of it that may only have 250k on in and put it in a Glider of the same year.

Hell I almost bought one with the ideal of trying to cram 6 small blocks into it.
