yeah pika has a projector for that event, and if you are nice... maybe i'll bring 2

and for extra shit....
I'll bring an 80486 for a dedicatred counterstrike server (hope you CS people like that!)

Actually it is clean and its Still in my trunk...like the past 4 months.

I have a screen for a projector if you do bring 2...that would be kick ass....been looking for couches and chairs people are tossing....not destroyed ofcourse.

If I had alot of $ I would work on my dvd jutbox idea, but that honstly isnt gana happen.

Got some things Cooking for other stuff also.

I've got most of it worked out in my head, I just have to start searching for something that will generate the thumbnails for us, otherwise it will suck.

We'll need a shitty computer at the sign-in table to do it. Connected to the computer will be a someones digital camera, via USB. When someone checks in, the person working the sign-in table will take the persons picture/s. Then using an html interface, they'll enter in a few things such as the persons name, age, favorite game, and such. On the same page where they enter the info will be a 'browse' button to browse to the camera and select the persons pic/s. Lastly, they'll click submit, and the info and the pic/s will be uploaded into a dynamic database on the server, where it can be viewed immediately by everyone connected to the network. The entire picture taking/info entering/uploading process should only take about a minute or two.

I'm also going to redo the graphics for our lan's internal site, so they'll be for PCALAN instead of our graphics. Doing so sounds like a lot of work, but if I make the images the same size, all I have to do is temporarily move our graphics and replace them with the new PCALAN graphics that I come up with.

On the internal site there will be a page that displays links to each persons info and pic/s. On each persons page will also be the button to vote for that person.

So there's a basic run-down on what it'll be like. Hopefully I'll get it all done soon instead of waiting until the night before we leave for PCALAN.

Is camping available again this year

Will The kid and I be the longest Drive again this year? Still in MO! Might even be farther by then.

I'll be bringing a system this time, though last time was a blast even without one. Lot's of fun meeting people.
If your gonna have a prize for the mods, guess I'll have to get busy on mine again and get Brianna started on one for herself.

I have 2 Black Dragon cases, maybe I'll do a twin towers theme since there will be 2 of us hopefully.

ANyway you can count me in and probably Brianna too, though I'll wait till closer to actually sign up just in case. We do get busy and travel alot in the summer.

I do have a question about the Modded case pictures. WIll you be taking pics after they are set up too?
Some cases might not show up too well till set up. Like Pugsley mentioned with lights. Also stuff like LCD temp displays, monitors modded to match cases, anything that folds out or pops up

Kinda like a complete modded system, monitor, case, mouse, keyboard etc.. would need to be setup and running for the full effect of the mod. Though I'm sure you thought of that already.

It's all for fun, so I don't want to sound picky or fussy.
But, do you think it would be better to have everyone vote on which mod was the best or just have like a pannel of 3 or 4 judges? It's always been my experience at the Halloween parties anyway that the prize for the most ORIGINAL costume goes to the person with the most friends present. Usually one of the 3 devils or 2 grim reapers with store bought costumes win. Often the really good costumes like a homemade witch doctor complete with shrunken head won't have enough friends present to win.

And so that I might have a chance to win a prize too, will you be giving out a booby prize?
Maybe a broom and dust pan to collect all the parts that fall out or off as I carry it in
