Like wow, and I thought I missed it!
Been busy and out of touch a little bit, this is the first I even heard it never happened yet this year. I was looking for the lan page with pics and details of the party, but found this instead.

So what happened, best I can gather from the info I run across so far is you got hit with a storm and it took out the power or something.

E-mail or PM me the dates if you get it reschedauled, I'll be there :)

We thought we missed it by about a few hours this year. I was busy here (MO.) up till the last minute (and beyond), then jumped in the van and made a trip to Ohio to get the kid. When I got there I was too tired to drive to chicago. I had already been up about 30hrs it seemed, was a long busy day before I left and I got a way late start (actually an entire day late). So anyway by the time I slept awhile and would have drove back to IL. for the lan I might have been able to get there sunday morning or afternoon. If I could have gotten there by at least saturday noon we would have came. Just couldn't get away from the house in time, too many things at the last minute kept comming up. It's about 800 miles to where the kid was to pick her up, and another round 500 miles to the lan I think. But then only about 500 miles back to home from the lan. That's what we did last year, so full trip is about 1,800 miles. First year was to lan and home about 500 miles each way. 1,000 mile round trip not so bad, that's what we'll be making again if you get it going soon then.

Scoobie will be glad to know we didn't miss it and still may have a chance of making it this year. She was a bit disapointed because we didn't make it. I took her to Kings Island amusement park for 2 days and camped there and hit Six Flags in Louiville Kentucky too. But ya know really, I think she would rather have gone to the lan! Heck we do alot of amusement parks, but there is only one PCALAN :D

It's hard to get away, something always happening to keep me tied up, but once I am gone I just stay gone long as I want.

Hasnt been canceled

It will take place after Halloween where a new location should be aquired. New location couldbe in Melrose Park (not as far north as Zion, more central location in the chicago area)

Forgiveness please for not being able to update the site with info. Working on that among other things.

That would be cool by me, but I have no say so about the lan. Would be nice to see the pics anyways, so if a few peeps wanted to get together to hold a lan by themselves, your location could be considered.

Anyways, I got my lan for the month, (about time), so I finally had my fix. So no hurry for the moment for me.

New location??

Bummer I loved the old location! So if going to a new location is this going to be the same lan party we love or a new lan only party?

Camping, cookout, bond fire etc.. was half the fun!
The Pc sacrafice was fun too!

Depending on time and such I would probably give it a shot.

Would like to know if any other activities gonna be going on too.
Like the cookout/bondfire and other fun stuff. Like the lan and like to visit, but I am not much of a gammer really. So really I drive the 500 miles or much more (depending where I come from) more for the socail activities and meeting people than for the games.

If it's gonna be a games only type lan then I may not make it, but I still might, just iffy and depends when it is too.
