Anybody got MOHAA?

Post by Lmandrake »

I have been obsessively playing the demo. I am wondering if the full game is worth the investment. Anybody here got it? Got an opinion about it?

Thanks

You haven't played MoH:AA yet! Yes GET IT! Its a blast well done and graphic intense. Very well done WWII FPS. IMHO its the best WWII FPS ever to come out. Lot of the missions are based on actual missions that took place and probably just as hard as the real thing. Omaha Beach is a blast and very difficult even on the easy setting its no fun... Can probably find it used on the forum sfor 20-30 bucks if ya look around.

Solo game is outstanding. FAIR WARNING: Don't play it on hard unless you REALLY want a tough game.

I have mixed feelings about multiplayer.

Multiplayer is good, but performance varies greatly depending on the server. Also compared to other Quake engine games, I find the field of view in multiplayer to be unusually narrow (I feel a bit claustraphobic playing the game).

I've recently started playing MOHAA multiplayer again.

That's kind of like comparing apples an oranges. MOHAA is a WWII "reality" game. RTCW is a WWII "fantasy" game.

The attraction of a game like MOHAA is the reality aspects (some of us find it hard to immerse ourselves in a WWII game with zombies and monsters in it).

One of the best games out. When your done with MoHAA get the expansion spearhead. Omaha beach is a bitch. :) So is sniper alley. Save often.

Dogsnuts, that's an anands kind of answer.
