i tell you what wv, this new 1.09 patch sux the big one. I mean the lag is so bad on useast now thats its nearly unplayable and im on cable. half the time i cant even log on. then i get dropped out and it backs out to the main diablo load screen when the game first boots up. I mean WTF is up with that? I can cast a teleport now and she go thru the motions but wont go anywhere. But the baddies seem to move just fine and get i killed over and over again. ANd i dont suck at playing either. Im not a D2 god by no means but i much skill does it take to cast a spell.

It does that or when i finally cast 3-4 in a row then they all come up at once and i go all over the dang screen. Heck it takes over a minute sometimes to even join a game. One thing is for sure, i wont be muling anything until they get that crap fixed. Just think if i was to find a grandfather or buriza and try to lay that puppy in town somwhere and then switch chars. I might not even get back on. And that my friend would sux another big one. And its not just me, everyone in the chat gripes about it. Maybe thats why chat is ALWAYS full of yappers instead of ppl playing

must be just us east. i'm playing regular d2 on uswest (even tho i live in georgia) and i'm on 56k and playing fine. 109c patch

well it aint for everyone.

the lag is getting better now. my cable company just switched form T1's to DC3 so its looking better for now

I didnt like it nearly as much as the first one. Maby because it wasnt revolutionary this time...but for what ever reason I jsut wanst able 2 get into this one. I got my main guy up to the lower 40's though...so ohwell.

I've recently gotten back into D2 after a recent hiatus. Currently have 2 accounts with:
82 Zon (Buriza, Twitch, Valk wing, etc)
88 Sorc (300%+ MF, 2 sojs, Oculus, Shako, etc)
76 Barb (Lance, he kind of sucks, dont play him much)
71 Assn (2 Bartuc's, fun to play but doesnt do enough damage imho)
68 Sorc (200% MF, not great equipment, really a mule)
Bunch of mules-Levels 1-50
I mainly use my high level sorc to do mephisto runs, and can do them under 2 min.

i assume your on east? if so we should get together and do some meph runs. I only have 2 chars i play, lvl 86 sorc, tals complete set but i dont use the mask, i have a 72%MF mask i use on her. 450%MF on this baby and my other is a lvl69 barb. griswolds armor, blackhorns helm, raven frost and order grip rings, butchers pupil and another sword that i cant remember the name of, hellmouth gauntlets, and tearhaunch greaves. he does pretty good but i still need better weapons for him. he does around 500+ with the sword and 700+ with the pupil. decent with frenzy though. But i love all the elemental resistance he has.
Raven frost=20% cold absorb and cannot be frozen
Blackhorns=15% lightning absorb
Hellmouth=15% fire absorb
pretty cool huh

I mainly use badboy979 because thats where my main sorc is =)
My main sorc has great resists, and can pretty much solo any boss without going to town at all.

i guess i would consider myself a D2 veteran. i've played every character up to the 80's or 90's. i currently play a lvl 95 zon and a 86 sorc. my zon has 450% mf that includes 50% war travelers, 74% shako, p topaz socketed skullders ire, dual leech mf rings, ist socketed buritza, etc. my sorc has 600% mf that includes tals armor, tals ammy, tals belt, war travelers, shako, occulus, 100% gull dagger, etc. i have mules for set, rare, runes, unique weapons, unique armor, etc. I got just about everything you can imagine except a windforce and grandfather. if anyone ever needs help leveling or with items any time, please let me know. i give away elite uniques all the time to strangers just because i have no use for them. i keep a few sojs on hand just in case something comes up i might need to trade for. i love helping out people with items or geting through different parts of the game. if anyone needs suggestions on character development, i can help there too. i've played them all one time or another.

hey i think i just found a new best friend!!! Hello friend. The thing i want most is an occulus. Clean socketed. I finally found an ist and i want to put it in an occulus. YOu got an extra? I have tals armor with a p topaz and some cheezy boots with about 24%mf. 29% chance guards a 29%ammy 2 rings and other junk. Travelers would be awesome but those are hard to get. I think im fixing to start a new sorc. The one i use now is the first sorc i ever used and i screwed up her spells and focused on firewall. My next will be maxed on nova and orb. with a smidegen of static thrown in for taste. Havent used a zon yet. Would skills should i focus on with her? I just found lycanders and titians revenge so i use those on here until i get a buriza. Also found venom grip so that might be nice on her too. Oh yeah found thundergods but its etheral!!dangit!! M sorc does ok but she gets her butt handed to her a lot more than i would like. Next time i wount put any points in dex and instead i'll put them in vit. Lvl 88 now. with 23 firewall. not bad but you know as well as i do now that freezing the target is better overall than burning it. I want to socket mu lidless wall but what would go best in there. Ist for MF or something else for def? Whisper me sometime and let me check out some of your stuff. Blade_146 is my account. YOu got an extra occulus? friend

well i don't have an extra occulus or lightsaber, sorry. i actually went on a free giveaway spree last week and got rid of some extra stuff i had. i think i got a couple honors and other weapons you might be able to use. i haven't played much the past week or so, but my acct. name is mexmann when i am on. message me and we can get together. i should be on some this afternoon and tonight.
as far as a zon build, i personally like maxing guided arrow and multishot. i also solo alot so i put a bunch of points in valk too. i put just enough points in strenght to wear war travelers and other armor, then the rest goes in dex. with a little for vit. to me personally a zon is the easiest to solo and do mf runs with. you can't use as much mf on a zon, but with a good valk, merc, and a shadow you will never die. guided arrow kicks mucho butt with a buritza.
with a sorc, i would max fire mastery and hydras. hydras melt baal with a charged bolt combo in a flash. i also like using charged bolt. firewall stinks because monsters have to stay still for it to kill them. my build would be max fm, lm, hydras, cb, 1 point in cold mastery, and the rest in nova. put enough strenght and dex. to wear your items and the rest in vit.
message me sometime guys and i can hook you up with items and do some mf runs. btw, meph runs are good for great items, but pindleskin and baal are the best to find the elite stuff such as windforce and grandfather. most people think meph can drop every item in the game, but he can't. baal can drop almost everything except things like IK armor. pindle can drop everything the game has and he's extremely easy to kill. pindle runs are the way to go.
