Thank God! Now I can uninstall that worthless Gamespy Arcade...

I stoped using any of the game spy's couple months ago when I found out about The all seeing eye this thing is great. Buddy list is working great it shows you your buddies with out scanning all servers in all games. I would say that TASE is 150% better then any of the gamspy. Linkage
And the most important thing it doesn't crash anything on my system (not like GS arcade)

I THINK it's available as both registered or free. I'm registered. I've been using Gamespy since it came out eons ago.
Well, thank goodness for Gamespy 3D - I finally got on a decent T3 and played for about 4 hours this afternoon. It's definately the crappy servers on cable and DSL connections that are causing poor gameplay. On a decent server it's silky smooth.
The game rocks (now that's I've played it on a good server). Needs some adjustments but it's very good. The new objective map rocks.
Really looking forward to this game.
Just some minor details:
- My only complaint is they REALLY need to add a prone position like Dod.
- I'm also not crazy about the toggle kneeling position - I prefer it to be momentary.
- Also, it seems you make as much noise when you run as when you crawl.
- I'm rather disappointed in the lack of environmental damage. Even the decals are pretty poor. Heck the Half-Life engine does more with decals. Granted they don't have blood, but we need more obvious bullet and explosive scarring.
