Max Payne problem

Post by dokkktor »

I had it working good on WinME and a Radeon 32 DDR.

I upgraded to Win XP and a Kyro II and now I have problems.

I can get through the first scene in the house and the story part, but as soon as it gets to where it is switching over to I believe the Subway, it kicks me out to the desktop.

I tried lowering every setting and turning off the sound even but nothing changes it.

Any Ideas?

Does it have anything to do with the fact that the Kyro doesn't support any T&L (whatever that is)

Apply the latest patch.

Also try running the game in 16-bit color depth. It crashes to the desktop in 32-bit on some hardware.
