OK, got it and tryed it but can I run or am I forced to walk everywhere? My gameplay in that mod seems less than ideal so far, somewhat laggy.

Just like Q3 there's an "Always run" setting.

I see. It just seems like you're walking though as run speed seems slower than usual to me. What I also find annoying is that once hit and bleeding, it seems hopeless because you just die, no "health" or a cure available, at least from my present limited experience with it.

The movement rate is a bit slower - more realistic. Also the type of weapon you carry limits your speed.

You DO carry a medkit - check your binds in the UT menu for the bandage command. Once bandaged you'll stop bleeding and limping.

If you carry the larger medkit as part of your loadout then you bandage faster (you can't shoot or move while bandaging)

You can bandage wounds......look through the menu binds.

how you guys liking it so far??? i kinda lost touch with this mod for a month or so. i believe lotsa things were "tweaked" they even added smoke grenades and the good thing is it doesn't "lag" that much.

i'm liking it so far and the 3rd party maps are well done too :-)

I love Q3UT. I just wish there was more CTF server out there. Team Deathmatch gets tiring after a while, and I'm not crazy about Team Survivor.

I wish there was more of an objective like in CS, DOD or MOHAA.

The gameplay is very smooth, though, smoother than Quake3 in my opinion. I've never liked the "feel" of Quake3, but Q3UT feels very smooth.

Looks like they added a couple of maps. Just played a nice one where you're running all over the rooftops of a densly packed town that looks middle-eastern.

I'm downloading Urban teror how do I install it in my quake 3 directory?

there should be a "readme" file in the download. you simply put/unzip the "q3ut2" folder in your "quake 3 arena folder"

I can't get online no server's when i go to play online hit refresh and all nothing"? I just downloaded the full install urban terror 2.4 exe. file it show's up in the mods but can't connect. Wonder if the server is on the blink?

"in-game" servers doesn't work for me either.

try using gamespy or gamespy arcade. they usually have 250-300+ servers.

I prefer Gamespy, but ingame servers work fine for me.

I did have a problem originally with my firewall that prevented it from working.
