alt.binaries.games.worms = newsgroup not a website. This isn't on a website to my knowledge. As was said by Uber get Newsbin Pro and then goto alt.binaries.games.worms for the group.

I'm only going to post to this thread this last time... Epic has a hot game on their hands and yes, it's wrong to play this pre-demo, and even so, this game is going to be great and my money is set down for the full copy...

They've got a lot to be proud of... :)

Well, I have no clue how to even begin using that (nothing's seemingly working for me there) so if anyone here reading this feels like giving me a clue or two, I'd appreciate it. I now have "Newsbin Pro" (free trail version) yet I can't get it to search for anything.

I have cable SO..............someone could just e-mail the .exe file and simplify all this too if one was so inclined unless it's a huge file?

Super sweet looking game...at high rez anyway...
damn PIII 500 and a TNT2 can only do so much though... :(
When I play the demo I have random textures here and there and it runs fairly slow...
I need an upgrade badly...

I wish somebody would make a patch or something for the UI, I am getting fed up with changes settings through the damn ini...
and remember...
this is just a taste of what the real game/demo will be like...
the bots will get better ! as will the gameplay

There's an even newer leaked copy. Controls all set through UI and more UI options. Really fricken cool. The first leaked was a pre-alpha from like 2 years ago. The new one (65 different RAR files) is updated and way better. The install says 4GB of space is needed but it's actually only 2GB (the freakin install was 2GB.....i was thinkin they used a method to get 50% compression, I was wrong).

BTW the HUD has been changed and redone so it isn't like NascarFool's screenshot, mucho better IMO.

Evil: check your PM.....

I appreciate your efforts here guys BUT to me, that's simply WAY more BS than I care to deal with just to try a breif unofficial game demo of a game that will soon be publically available anyway.
Thanks but I'll wait patiently :)

That's cool, too... :) The real demo should be out in two or three weeks... I've already dumped the pre-demo off my rig, but it was a nice taste of what's to come...

*edit - guess I was wrong when I said I wasn't going to post to this thread anymore... :D

This game will rock for sure. Dolby Labs certified it for 5.1 digital sound and graphics are nice.

Neuman: which version? the latest leaked is better than the original.

I'm sure it is.... :) But my heart just isn't into looking for the new leak.... My ass will be in the store to get this game - and I hope they have a deathmatch online in it... I like to pop on line and have a go at it, even if I do suck bigtime at it...

:D Lied again, didn't I? I's postin' is this here thread again!....
