I never knew NOLF was this good.

I am a huge fan of FPS shooters with actual plot to them (ie, HL, SOF), but I had never played the original NOLF until I saw it in the bargain bin last week.
All I can say is I should have bought this game a LONG, LONG time ago.
Great missions, very challenging, funny....

OK, how do you turn off the damn alarms?!
I guess I am not used to sneaking around so much, I set the alarms off at the beginning of each mission.

I bought the game when it first came out and had the same problem with the alarms. i quite playing out of frustration. About a year later I found a walkthru for it and started playing. Really enjoyed the game once I got through that part.

I just finally played it also... Damn good game. The alarms are a pain in teh ass but that made it fun. I've got NOLF2 now and OMFG are the graphics sweet on it. Kate looks hotter than ever! lol

I still have it on my drive but I stopped playing at the level with the sneaking around and setting off the alarms crap.
Maybe I should dredge up a walkthru and finish it. It was one hell of a fun game.

LOL, even I know that's not your type of game, FP. Too much sneaking and not enough fragging, right?

Someone posted a walkthru above FP.
NoLF was one the better FPS's I've ever played. Currently playing NoLF 2 and it's very good, but I'm not sure if it's better than the original...

With the alarms you gotta watch those damn camera's thats for sure... i had a hell fo a time with one of them. Some of hte levels setting off the alarm ain't no biggy but others it blows your cover.

Yeah, but I keep reading that the alarms can be turned off by a lever. I am on the fifth mission, but I have yet to find a llever or a way to turn the alarms off - especially on the indoor missions where alarms are around every corner.
*confused*
Am I missing something or just dreaming this up?
