Some guy is trying to sell me a used XBOX. That's fine but i already have a pretty decent PC and i have all the fun i need on that. But there are a couple of games out for the XBOX that i would love to play. My question is: since microsoft makes the XBOX will those games be available on the PC platform?

plus it will take awhile before it's even released on the PC. i for one can say that my xbox compliments my PC well. Pretty simple:
PC for FPS games
XBOX for Sports, Platfrom games.

They ain't getting this joker

Halo isn't even that great of a game. Sure its kinda fun, but any FPS on the console just isn't as good as something on the PC. Everything just looks like it's on 800x600 with FSAA x4 on....blurry. I prefer clear @ 1280x1024, please

I bet you haven't played Halo from start to finish have you? Halo is a great game. You can whine and cry about the using a control pad but if you actually sit and play it you can adapt to the control pad just fine.

HALO is the only game (IMO) that merits buying an X-Box for. Of course I'm not into sports or racing games.
However you won't EVER catch me playing an FPS game with a gamepad. NOT EVER. I'll wait for the PC version.

I've been playing FPS since Quake/Doom and had no problems with the controls for Halo. They really did an excellent job with the controls. And there are plenty og games out there for Xbox worth a look besides Halo IMO.

What does annoy me about the thing with Halo is there is absolutly nothing they need to do to release HALO for PC except recompile it and distribute the CD's. It's 100% marketing drivel and pretty soon no-one will care anyway because HALO is already falling behind what is considered a decent game.
IMHO they should just get HALO out on PC and make some money rather than try to push PC owners into buying an X-Box.

i have a feeling that halo will turn out to be a bad conversion to the pc. one of those bargain bin games after about 3 weeks after release.
then again, what do i know?
