I just finished the Alice demo and I really like the game. Disney on crack, naw, Disney on LSD and havin' a bad trip. I'm gonna have to run down to the local EB and buy this one next week.

Damn, I really don't know what to call it. It's a 3rd person action game built on the Quake 3 engine. No guns for weapons, just items from the story (knife, mallet, jack in the box bomb). Also, for me, a lot of the game was getting from one place to another.

OT NOTE: Game demos are one of the nice things about having DSL. Since it takes only 15-30 minutes to download a 100 MB file, you can try anything. If the demo sucks, you just delete it and you really haven't wasted much time.

9 Minutes!!

I Know Reg.. I had a dialup for 6 years, I know the pain of waiting...

but some demo's are worth it such as this one.

So far so good.. Freaky stuff there.. the music and atmosphere kinda wanted to make me to stand and look around rather than move on. Strange happenin's about.
Not sure if I'm towards the end of the demo or not. (just got past that rolling ball part) Heh. now theres a sky with a black and white checker board and down is the sky with stars with floating chimmenys.
Best part so far is the two castles connected in space by the walk and the sky is goin nuts like the arurabalioruos <--Sp? Chairs floating in space if you look.
Oh then where the floor comes apart on you (earlier on) That gets ya!!
Damn... If the whole game is like this, it's a buyer IMHO..

Wow, this game is a trip. Nothing else quite like it. I kept having thoughts all the way through this game on what a dark sense of humor that the writers envisioned. I found some of the happenings in the game a little unnerving at times, like when she drinks the potion. The little subtle body movements and expression was quite profound. Best I can describe my experience in playing this game was a combination of laughing, frowning, and a distinct chill all at the same time.

I kept thinking, "how the hell did they come up with this"? In a word, Extraordinary!

Actually I am talking about the full version game here, not the demo.
