Just like the topic says, how do I get Quake1 to work with my new Geforce GTS video card? Thanks
UPDATE:
I got it to work by removing the old opengl32.dll file from the Quake folder (must have been the one for the Voodoo1/2/3 card that I've owned. Now the only problem is the game is too dark. Even with the brightness turned all the way up, it's too dark. Even adjusting the brightness bar has no effect on the game. How do I go about fixing this?

ID Gamma works like a charm. But read the directions. Dummy me didn't at first and it didn't work naturally. Just a few simple steps and man what a difference.

Also, proxies like Qizmo have a gamma command. If you plan on playing in tournies that require the use of Qizmo, you should be aware that the idgmma pak that is created will be reported by f_modified. But if you are in it for the fun that is Quake, then no worries!
