I'm curious. How many D batters does that monster take?
8 D batteries. I think I've used batteries just once in that. Always made it a point to plug it in somewhere. LOL

It works actually. I've taken good care of it. I might need to clean the pots (volume knobs, etc) with an electrical cleaner but otherwise it works and sounds good.
